Between the end of my apprenticeship and starting university I spent the summer contracting for the Science Museum as a systems engineer. My main tasking was the design and construction of interactive displays for use in the public galleries.

During my second summer vacation whilst at university, I spent several months at this small engineering firm where I constructed, programmed (using C) and tested micro-controller systems that were used in interactive displays for museums, exhibitions the retail industry.
